Michelle grew up in California where she attended The Academy of Arts and worked with
Bear, Stearns & Co. in San Francisco as a licensed investment assistant. In 1994 she
moved to Harmony, Minnesota with her husband Paul and their children when Paul's
enlistment with the Navy ended.
In Minnesota she worked at a Hedge Fund where she traded stocks, bonds, futures, options,
foreign currencies, and more. When this ended, she went back to college and studied computer
science and also took a position with the IBM Credit Union, now Think Bank, as a registered
assistant. This position grew into starting their on-line trading and becoming the compliance manager.
In 2002, she left this job to be home with her kids and family and purchased the JEM Movie Theatre.
In 2003, she started working with Harmony State Insurance as an licensed assistant. While working there,
she enrolled in the Web Design and Development course through Southeast Tech and RCTC. In June 2010,
she started working with SMG Web Design.
When not working with SMG Web Design, Michelle runs the JEM Movie Theatre on weekend's. Michelle
enjoys spending time with her six children and two grandchildren, taking walks, camping and spending time at the river.
